We all know that the late Simeon Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. is considered as one of our heroes. He was killed by unknown people by the time the stepped out of his plane when he went back here in the Philippines many years ago. We all know our history.

When the people knew about his coming home, they hoped that he could be the next president of the country because of their dislike in the Marcos Regime. But unfortunately, it didn’t happen. Instead, his wife Mrs. Corazon Aquino was appointed as president through People Power.

Just yesterday, Simeon Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III was proclaimed as the new president of RP. They say that being a president is a destiny. Every thing happens for a reason, and for whatever reason that Noynoy was elected as our new president, I am glad that a “Benigno” finally made it on top.
