Life After Life

Our universe exist in three dimensions of space and one dimension of time or four dimension of space time defined by Albert Einsteins theory of relativity. There are four basic forces of nature the gravitational , the strong, the electromagnetic and the weak force. The interaction of heavenly bodies are governed by the gravitational force, the weakest and a long distance acting force. The strong force is a short distance acting force and the strongest of all, it holds the particles inside the nucleus of the atom together. The electromagnetic force governs the movement of electrons out of which electricity and the chemical properties of the atoms takes place. The weak force is the force from radioactive decay. Out of this four basic forces of nature in four dimensions of space time life evolved. How? A biosphere, a sphere capable of harboring life was formed by the action of gravity which attracts matter through long distances to form stars, planets and other heavenly bodies. When a massive heavenly body is formed through the action of gravity heat is generated inside the body. When a very high temperature, about a million degrees centigrade is reached nuclear burning takes place, in this way a star like our sun is born. In a small heavenly body nuclear burning does not take place because of a lower temperature, this is how planets moons and inter-stellar cosmic dust are formed. Large planets have strong gravitational force it provides a thick atmosphere composed of ammonia and other poisonous gases, a small planet because of weak gravity cannot hold an atmosphere that is why in both scenarios life cannot exist. A planet must be of the right size to produce a habitable atmosphere, it must be at a right distance from the sun so that a moderate temperature is needed for life to exist.
In a complex atom there are several electron shells or orbits wherein electrons revolve around the nucleus of the atom. The outermost shell is the most important. This is called the valence shell, this shell has the property to share its electrons with other atoms to form compounds like 2 atoms of hydrogen and 1 atom of oxygen to form water. Several types of compounds are formed due to sharing of valence electrons, some are inorganic (non-living) and others are organic (living). From the organic compounds life has evolved. A simple single celled microorganism was formed in the seas billions of years ago. For millions of years it mutates, it gets more complex to be able to survive in a hostile environment. The weak perishes, the strong survives. This process of natural selection produces a better adapted new generations of microorganisms. The organism as it get more complex then develops sense organs, nervous system then a simple processing unit called the brain. On top of this evolutionary tree is man, the most intelligent of all lifeforms. Looking at the universe from the scientific point of view we can draw an arrow pointing at a direction in time.
Inorganic——Organic——Mind (spirit)——-?
We may call this the evolutionary arrow of time. The universe is immense and mysterious, physical laws that governs it were discovered written as mathematical formulas to describe the interaction of heavenly bodies (relativity) and the behavior of subatomic particles (quantum physics). But why design it this way? The universe was designed for life to evolve! Why? Our creator is after intellect and order. Intelligence is needed for it is the capacity of a being to understand the true essence of all things that exist in all levels or dimensions of existence that gives meaning for its own existence. Order is needed to produce harmony for its own existence. What about the mind, what is it? Science could hardly describe what it is. The mind or intellect I believe is the soul a spirit, it is the immortal part of a man, a product of our labors, aspirations, memories, intelligence, our personality. But why? There is only one explanation for all of this. He is preparing us to another form of existence, a more complex and blissful world but a very high level of intelligence is needed to appreciate it. This may be the ultimate paradise, it is difficult to visualize or comprehend but the evolutionary arrow of time tells us so.
