A busy work with a busy schedule, what important is that we don’t forget to fuel up our machine. We eat lunch at our favorite place which is Aling Rose Eatery. Everyday Aling Rose wait for us to prepare our food. We eat lunch with our co workers, and our favorite menu is Menudo and Mix vegetable. Whenever we have left over food we bring it to our working place for our merienda at 3pm. Aling Rose also prepare turon and especial halo halo for our added merienda, it’s an everyday task. This is me, doing Corlito’s way, that everytime whenever we had a project, we make sure that everything is in place, we give importance to our co workers,we give them good food with good treatment so that they will give us good result.
Under the governance of Honorable Amado Espino Jr., the restoration of the historical Sison Auditorium is now on process. This big auditorium was the place where big events where held before like the ” Florante and Laura” played by Mr. Ernie Garcia a local actor from Manila. Choral group competition,1986 martial arts competition, presentation of players in Palarong Pambansa 1995 was also held here, where Ms. Donita Rose and Ranjit Shahani hosted the program. The 50th year liberation was also celebrated here with the search for Ms. Liberation beauty pageant as the highlight of the event. We also held an event here during my teenage year, a concert for a cause for an anti drug campaign, it is a band and dance concert for the youth. We also have dance competition sponsored by the Anak Pawis Artist dancers ( the group that I managed).
During year 2000, the auditorium became a sport arena for badminton and table tennis sponsored by Milo. Due to lack of maintenance the Sison Auditorium slowly deteriorates. It was abandoned for few years but now finally, another restoration headed by good governor Amado Espino, Jr. and with his advocacy, to uplift the culture and art in Pangasinan is another project that will bring out the pride and beauty of the province.
