When the people knew about his coming home, they hoped that he could be the next president of the country because of their dislike in the Marcos Regime. But unfortunately, it didn’t happen. Instead, his wife Mrs. Corazon Aquino was appointed as president through People Power.

Just yesterday, Simeon Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III was proclaimed as the new president of RP. They say that being a president is a destiny. Every thing happens for a reason, and for whatever reason that Noynoy was elected as our new president, I am glad that a “Benigno” finally made it on top.

We are all aware that branded makeups are expensive but don’t make that a reason to substitute buying bargain makeups in the market. Don’t be fooled by those makeups that can be seen in the market branded as Revlon, Bobbie, or Shiseido. These items could be expired or even just an imitation of the original one. These items can do harm to your skin so be careful, buy makeups to official distributors and don’t forget to read the label and expiration date.

I also love to eat and my most favorite part is the “snack time”. And you what is my favorite snack? None other than the crispy chicharon bulaklak! Yes indeed, the very mouthwatering chicharon. I love it with spicy vinegar. If I am not mistaken, we have different kinds of chicharon nowadays. Unlike before, we only have pork chicharon. But now, we also have vegetable chicharon for health conscious people because pork chicharon is very high in cholesterol. That is why I always make sure to exercise regularly to maintain a healthy body and to flush away those bad cholesterol brought by that yummy chicharon.

Both of you are not definitely getting any younger and don’t reason out that intimacy is only for young couples because that is so not true! If you are getting old, it doesn’t mean that you should both loose the intimacy or the interest between the two of you. Instead, you should also have to increase your intimacy as you grow older. How can this be possible? Well, simply do the things that you usually do to stay intimate when you were both still young. Like going to movies and having dinner for two. If you already have your kids, make sure to still have some time together, alone.

It is all but natural to have petty quarrels, but be sure to fix it before sleeping, that’s the most important part. And lastly, always have something special to give or to do before the week ends.

Now here’s the continuation of our bagoong festival story. After our street dance competition, we immediately went to our headquarters to take some rest and have ourselves ready for the big event. We ate a lot and have our dancers freshened up for them to look good that night. We also talked to them and told them not to get nervous because one of the organizers told us that two of the judges gave us a perfect 100 score for our street dance performance early that afternoon.

Our dancers felt really happy about it so they promised us to do their best and will perform with all their best. And the time has come, it was 7p.m when we were told to go to the venue of the competition and have our props ready. We were third to perform which is a good thing for us. We have watched the first two groups who performed which I think is a good thing also because we all believe that our routines are way better than them and more unique.

Before the completion, we really had a lot of hard times dealing with our dancers during our rehearsals because they cannot follow simple instructions from us and they perform really bad during our rehearsals. We can do charity anytime. Remember that charity sees the need, not the cause. I have come to write about this because I am fond of helping others. In my simple ways, I could lessen the burden of other people, at least I could I could see them smile for a while. It is the best thing that I could do for my fellowmen. Giving relief goods like clothes, canned goods, and medicines is our traditional way of giving charity. But we could also do some charity by helping other people especially the youth of today to send them to school. We could donate reading materials to schools, chairs and tables for additional school supplies. Once in a while, we can also conduct feeding programs in our barangay, of course with the help of our barangay officials.

We should know what Confucius said about charity, “he who wish to secure the good of others, has already secured his own.”  So for those people who have not experience giving charity, bare in your mind that if you haven’t got charity in your heart, maybe you have the worst kind of heart disease.

To determine the pet that suites you, you should consider some things first.

1. Determine what kind of pet you want. Is it aerial, land, or water animals?
2. Determine the size. If you choose big pets, make it sure that you have enough space for them.
3. Also, consider your lifestyle. If you can afford to spend much on your pets, then go. But if you live a simple life, go for a pet that can suite your simple living.
4. Consider also your time. If you are a busy person, find a pet that you can leave in your house that does not need to be taken care of. Like fishes, you can choose from a variety of them.
5. Pets also need medical attention so make it sure to monitor their health. Feed them with their proper food and keep them clean.
